Numerous art shows
Thousands of locals and tourists gathered at 2-4 Square on December 24 night to see the music-fashion show jointly organized by Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe and the provincial Center of Culture and Cinema. In more than 90 minutes of the show, the audience was excited with the carefully-prepared performances of the artists. Besides the music performances, the show featured the fashion collections of the two designers, Thieu Vy and Ai Tran.
It has been many months since the last time when people in Nha Trang could enjoy an exciting atmosphere at 2-4 Square. “The performances in the show were quite good and suitable for most of the audience. These art shows help to create a cheerful atmosphere and add motivation to people in the last days of the year,” said Nguyen Truong Long (Da Tuong Street, NhaTrang City).

As scheduled by Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, from Christmas Eve to New Year's Eve 2021, 2-4 Square Nha Trang is the venue for numerous art shows. Following the music-fashion show on December 24 night is a music show of the provincial Center of Culture and Cinema on December 25; an art show of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe on December 26; a Tuong and Bai Choi show of the provincial Traditional Arts Theater on December 27; two art shows of the provincial Center of Culture and Cinema on December 28 and 29. Hai Dang Song and Dance Troop holds a show namely “Khanh Hoa welcomes a new day” on December 30. Specifically, a New Year countdown event will take place on December 31 night with the attending of some famous singers of Vietnam.
In order to prepare for the year-end art shows, the provincial Center of Culture and Cinema involved a lot of artists from the affiliated clubs and collaborators. The center hopes to create a cheerful atmosphere and convey positive energy to audience.
Helping to stimulate tourism demands
This is the first time the art units under the provincial Department of Culture and Sports have prepared a week-lasting series of art shows at 2-4 Square. As said by Nguyen Thanh Ha, director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, the department prepares these shows to meet the needs for recreational activities of local people and tourists as well as to response to the measures to stimulate tourism demands on year-end season. The units have invested in their repertoire to produce entertaining and quality performances while still reflecting the signature culture of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa.
The art shows have been organized in accordance with the guidelines for COVID-19 control and prevention. The site of the shows has been sprayed with antiseptic as prescribed. The audience has been provided masks and been required to wash their hands with sanitizer before enter the site. Audience seats have also been arranged at a suitable distance to ensure social distancing.
After these art shows, the art units of Khanh Hoa will continue to prepare for the activities celebrating the 13th National Party Congress and Lunar New Year 2021.
