Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on March 29 held a press conference announcing the cultural, art, sports, and tourism program in 2021. The attendees included Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Ngoc Thanh, Chief of Provincial Standing Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Dinh Van Thieu, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the leaderships of the provincial departments and sectors; journalists and reporters of the press agencies in the province.
At the press conference, the leadership of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports announced the province’s plan for cultural, art, sports, and tourism program in 2021 to stimulate tourism demand. Accordingly, there will be 114 activities to be organized in Nha Trang City and other localities in the province throughout 2021 under the theme Safe destination - the call of Nha Trang beach.
The program includes four series of activities, including a series of activities revolving around the theme Thien Y A Na Holy Mother from mid-April to the end of May; a series of activities taking place in the summer; a series of autumn activities on the occasion of the National Day (September 2); and a series of 2022 New Year activities.
Also at the press conference, the leadership of the provincial Department of Tourism introduced the plan to attract tourists to Khanh Hoa in 2021 with the target of around more than five million visitors, including expected 1.5 million foreign visitors, and tourism revenue of VND17,500 billion.
Besides, the representative of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association introduced Khanh Hoa’s tourism stimulus program 2021 with three high quality and good price tour programs, and many tourism packages of its business members.
