On April 28, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports held a seminar on practicing worship of Thien Y A Na Holy Mother in Khanh Hoa. Present at the seminar were Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; more than 200 delegates who were scientists, folk culture researchers from central schools and cultural research institutes; officials, folk artists, and local people.

At the seminar, the delegates discussed issues relating to the origin and religious cohesion between Vietnam’s Thien Y A Na Holy Mother worship religion and Cham’s Motherland Goddess worship religion. The seminar assessed the role of Mother Goddess worship religion in the cultural life of people in Khanh Hoa; discussed the practices of Thien Y A Na Holy Mother worship religion to promote the religion and connect it with the sustainable development of tourism. The delegates also discussed the management of historical and cultural monuments and the practices of Thien Y A Na Holy Mother worship religion.

Khanh Hoa has around more than 200 monuments worshipping Thien Y A Na Holy Mother; Ponagar Temple is the center of this religion. The seminar is a part of the series of activities about Thien Y A Na Holy Mother of Khanh Hoa.
