- After 20 years of implementing the movement “All people unite to build cultural life”, Khanh Hoa Province has achieved many important results. Many cultural standards and titles have become the driving force contributing to the province's socio-economic development. In the 21st year of this movement, the province strives to maintain and promote the roles and meanings of the movement. Implementing the direction of the provincial People's Committee, all levels, sectors, and localities across the province need to review, strengthen and consolidate the Steering Committee of the movement to ensure the continuity and smoothness of the movement. Propagandizing and mobilizing people to comply with the regulations of the central government and the province need to be improved, especially the standards and criteria of cultural titles and the implementation of civilized lifestyle in holding weddings, funerals and festivals.

Additionally, the province will strengthen the organizations; invest in infrastructure and facilities of cultural and sports institutions; assign officials to be in charge of supervision and implementation of the movement at all levels; offer training to cultural staff at grass roots level, and so on. The target is, by 2921, the province will have had 85% of families recognized as cultural families, 75% of cultural hamlets and residential groups recognized as cultural ones; 90% of agencies and businesses recognized as cultural ones; 50% of communes meeting cultural standards of new rural areas; 50% of wards and towns meeting standards of civilized urban areas. In addition, commune-level centers of culture and sports and hamlet-level halls of culture and sports will be gradually equipped with facilities to meet the standards prescribed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
- As the province-level standing body of the Steering Committee of the movement “All people unite to build cultural life”, what will the provincial Department of Culture and Sports do to achieve the results as planned in 2021?
- The Department of Culture and Sports will cooperate with the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the member agencies of the provincial Steering Committee to carry out propaganda activities and encourage residents to implement the standards and criteria of cultural families and cultural neighborhoods in residential communities; to instruct, inspect and urge the implementation of administrative procedures for registration, selection, appraisal, recognition and re-recognition of cultural titles in accordance with the regulations of the central government and the province.
Besides, the department will closely follow the instructions and orientations of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on cooperating with other departments, sectors and localities to promptly propose the provincial People's Committee issue programs and plans to implement the movement in the 2021-2025 period, orientation to 2030; hold training courses and update the staff in charge of the movement on new documents issued by the central government and the province. The department will also cooperate and support the local people’s committees in strengthen and consolidate the district- and commune-level steering committees; and ensure the deep and sustainable development of the movement.
