Adjusting and adding some tasks
Reportedly, the provincial Department of Culture and Sports is assigned to implement 18 tasks in 2021. The department has basically completed the tasks except for four strategic tasks for the 2021-2030 period, which are still waiting for the new instruction from the Government. The four tasks include the development strategy for Khanh Hoa’s culture until 2030; development strategy for Vietnamese families in Khanh Hoa until 2030; program to preserve and promote cultural heritages’ values in the province in the 2021-2030 period; and the implementation of “All people unite to build cultural life” movement in the 2021-2025 period. On October 25, the department proposed the provincial People's Committee move these tasks to 2022.

The provincial Department of Culture and Sports has also added some tasks to the work program of the cultural sector in 2021. For example, investing in Ninh Hoa Prefect House renovation project (has been completed); investing and developing the provincial library into a digital and automated library; and investing in renovation projects of Dien Khanh Ancient Citadel, Ba Ngoi provisional revolutionary People's Committee headquarters Thanh Minh Communal House, Thanh Chau Communal House, My Thanh Communal House, Quang Dong Communal House, Tan My Communal House, Hung Kings Communal House, Lap Dinh Communal House, and Tra Long Communal House.
Many art programs towards the end of the year
Art units in the province have started to rehearse for the art programs held towards the end of the year. Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe have planned and are rehearsing for the art events and activities on the occasion of New Year 2022. The program of the troupe will include some performances which had been staged but haven’t performed and some new performances.
The art units in the province have sent the provincial Department of Culture and Sports their plan for the art and music programs scheduled for New Year and Lunar New Year 2022 and other occasions to promote and stimulate tourism in Nha Trang. Specifically, the provincial Center of Culture and Cinema will hold a program on Christmas night and a program on December 29. Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe will organize a music and fashion show to welcome New Year on December 25; a program about Khanh Hoa Province on December 30 night; and a tradition music show on January 1, 2022. Additionally, the two aforementioned units will jointly organize a music show on December 31 night. On January 2, 2022, the provincial Traditional Art Theatre will perform a Tuong performance.
All the artists and actors are hoping the pandemic will be controlled so that their programs can be organized as planned.
