The festival opened on January 15, attracting 27 teams from the localities in the city. In two days, the teams performed 37 performances of unicorn-lion-dragon dances. At the closing ceremony, the organization board gave three A prizes, three B prizes, three C prizes, and ten consolation prizes to teams with outstanding performances.

The festival is organized every year on Lunar New Year to create playground for the local unicorn-lion-dragon team and maintain and promote the beauty of unicorn-lion-dragon dances.
