Creating Tet atmosphere
In order to prepare for this year's Spring Flower Festival, in mid-November 2021, Nha Trang City People's Committee issued the organization plan and assigned specific tasks to the agencies and organizations in the city. The 2022 festival opens on January 25 (lunar December 23) evening and ends on February 2 (lunar January 5). The areas of Yen Phi Park, Children’s Park, and surrounding streets are used for displaying decorative works, which have theme about the zodiac animal of 2022. Besides, there are displays of ornamental creatures and over 400 flowers and ornamental works, such as orchids, bonsais, rockwork, ornamental dry, etc.

Reportedly, this year’s spring flower festival still focuses on highlighting the beauties of villages and the zodiac animal of the year. The 2022 festival doesn't have the works of artisans from other provinces. Therefore, there is not contest for ornamental plants like the previous years.
A rendezvous for Tet
Nha Trang Spring Flower Festival has become a favorite rendezvous of many local people and an interesting tourist place in Nha Trang during Tet days. People come to the festival to view displayed flowers and ornamental works and pose for photos. Besides aiming to meet the entertainment demand of people on Tet holiday, the festival also aims to honor the values of traditional culture. It is also a place where artisans can introduce their works to the public. Amid COVID-19 pandemic, visitors to Nha Trang Spring Flower Festival 2022 are required to wear masks and obey “5K” motto.
Visiting the Spring Flower Festival 2022 of Nha Trang, visitors can view many vivid tiger ornaments and themed decoration portraying Vietnam’s villages, for example gourd and luffa trellises, thatched cottage, river, rice field, apricot and beach flowers, and so on. The ornaments and flowers show meticulous work of artisans and gardeners in creating beautiful works.
The spring flower festival also has an area for evening music shows and some stalls of people writing calligraphy letters and performing some types of traditional art forms.
