Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival is associated with the promotion and popularization of the values of local cultural features. Over nine editions, Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival has attracted hundreds of thousands of domestic and international tourists to Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province. Therefore, the 2023 edition of the sea festival is highly expected in promoting and stimulating tourism.
In the 10th edition, Khanh Hoa’s tourism sector will organize a series of typical events and activities to attract tourists to participate in the events and activities of the sector and the sea festival. Specifically, at the end of May and early June, the province will receive a delegation of Australian businessmen and journalists, who come to Khanh Hoa to survey the province’s tourism products and services and promote tourism cooperation and expansion with Khanh Hoa. Additionally, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will cooperate with Khanh Hoa to organize a joint program to develop Vietnam's tourism brand through cinema with activities such as exhibitions, music festivals, forum about cinema and tourism, screening of movie connecting tourism and cinema. Besides, there will be the 2nd Nha Trang Paragliding Festival; Ever - Glamor Nha Trang international art light show, a highlight of the 2023 Sea Festival, scheduled to take place in the opening program; a food festival including 100 stalls of traditional and typical food of the 3 regions of Vietnam; and some recreational activities.

The provincial Department of Tourism will cooperate with agencies, units and businesses to organize promotion and advertising activities to attract tourists to Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa before, during and after Sea Festival 2023. The tourism sector will focus on attracting domestic tourists from Hanoi and provinces and cities in the northern region, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho City, provinces in Mekong Delta area, and provinces in the central highland region. As for foreign markets, the sector will pay attention to the markets of China, Korea, Russia, India, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.
According to Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, director of the provincial Department of Tourism, Sea Festival 2023 is an opportunity to stimulate the 2023 summer tourism season of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa. It is expected that, in four days of the festival, the province will receive around 100,000 visitors. With a series of interesting and unique cultural, art, sports, tourism events and activities, 2023 Sea Festival is considered a special occasion to promote local tourism extensively to domestic and international investors, businesses and tourists. In order to promote this year’s sea festival and introduce the potential and strengths of the province’s tourism, the provincial Department of Tourism has sent information and images of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism by QR code to domestic news agencies.
As said by, Dinh Van Thieu, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival is a nation-level and international-level cultural and tourism event. Over nine times of organization, the sea festival has achieved many positive effects in developing the tourism, especially sea tourism, of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa.
