Preserving traditional cultural characteristics

“Tuong” (Vietnam’s classical drama) has a history of hundreds of years. This type of performance art features typical national heroes and lessons on human behavior when dealing with common and private benefits, family’s and nation's sake, etc. Khanh Hoa Province is one of a few localities in the central region still practices and performs “Tuong”. Private units in Khanh Hoa and the provincial Tuong Arts Troupe are trying to preserve the unique color of this traditional art form.
