Charity music program raises over VND500 million

Khanh Hoa Province's Patronizing Association for People with Disabilities, Poor Patients and Children's Rights in cooperation with the Provincial Food and Culture Association organized a music program in Nha Trang City on August 20. Attending the event were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Do Manh Hung, Vice President of Vietnam Patronizing Association for People with Disabilities and Orphans.

The program featured more than 20 performances of singers and dancers in and outside the province. At the program, the delegates and audience raised over VND500 million to support poor patients, disabled people, orphans, and people with difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the program, Nguyen Tan Tuan praised and highly appreciated the charity activities of the aforementioned units and called on businesses, organizations, units, and individuals to continue to support the funds of the Provincial Patronizing Association for People with Disabilities, Poor Patients and Children's Rights to promptly help the disadvantaged.

On this occasion, the organization committee presented gifts to 10 poor patients with serious diseases, who are being treated at Khanh Hoa Provincial Oncology Hospital.

Reportedly, from 2018 to 2022, Khanh Hoa Province's Patronizing Association for People with Disabilities, Poor Patients and Children's Rights raised funds for 509,190 free meals for poor patients; medical examination and treatment for 21,420 people; 550 bicycles for poor students; surgeries for 13 patients with cleft lip and palate; gifts to those severely affected by Covid-19; 14 charity houses; etc. with a total value of over VND35.6 billion.
