35 sports, cultural and art activities to be held on Lunar New Year 2024 occasion

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports on January 3 issued the organization plan for sports, cultural and art activities on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024. Accordingly, 35 activities including 14 frequent activities and 21 occasional activities take place from January 14 to February 19, 2024.

The frequent activities consists of provincial futsal club tournament, themed exhibition about prehistoric and preliminary archeology of Khanh Hoa, photo exhibitions about Nha Trang City and Khanh Hoa in the spring, Lunar New Year 2024 spring press festival, human Chinese chess competition, street art show, etc.

The occasional activities kick off on February 3 (lunar December 24, 2023) with the music program commemorating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and the 94th anniversary of the founding of Khanh Hoa Province Party Committee (February 24, 1930 - February 24, 2024). Other activities include special music and fashion program welcoming Lunar New Year 2024 and firework display on Lunar New Year’s Eve, unicorn-lion-dragon show, music shows, night art program, etc.

Most of the activities take place at 2-4 Square (Nha Trang City) and the facilities of some units in province.
