2024 Spring Newspaper Festival, meaningful cultural activity

Spring newspaper festival is a traditional activity of the press in Khanh Hoa Province on every occasion of Lunar New Year. This year, Khanh Hoa Provincial Association of Journalists associates with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports to open the 2024 Spring Newspaper Festival at Khanh Hoa Library (8 Tran Hung Dao Street, Nha Trang City) on February 1. - Over many years, spring newspaper festival has become an annual beautiful cultural feature of Khanh Hoa Province’s press on Lunar New Year occasion. The 2024 edition of Spring Newspaper Festival takes place from February 1 to 19, 2024 (lunar December 22, 2023 to lunar January 10, 2024), displaying many spring newspapers and magazines nationwide with diverse content about politics, economics, culture, and society of the country.

- What are the highlights of the Spring Newspaper Festival 2024 and the solutions to attract visitors to this year’s festival?

- This year’s Spring Newspaper Festival introduces over 250 publications with more than 4,000 copies from the press associations and agencies across the country. In addition to putting many printed and online newspapers and magazines on display, the organization committee exhibits the documents about the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; resolutions and action programs on building and developing Khanh Hoa Province until 2030, with a vision to 2045; resolution on piloting some specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Khanh Hoa Province; and so on. This is a new feature of the 2024 edition of Spring Newspaper Festival.

The organization committee has closely cooperated with some provincial departments and sectors to ensure the success of the 2024 Spring Newspaper Festival. The opening ceremony of the festival will feature music performances performed by children in traditional costume. The presentation of the 2024 spring newspapers and magazines are enhanced for a more aesthetically pleasing and impactful display. As usual, after the closing of the festival, the exhibits will be given to the civilians and soldiers in Truong Sa (Spratly) District. This activity continues to be actively responded by press agencies and businesses and cooperated by Lam Dong Province Association of Journalists.
