Lunar New Year celebrating activities at Khanh Hoa Museum open

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports opened the 2024 Lunar New Year celebrating activities at Khanh Hoa Museum on February 1. Present at the opening ceremony were the leaders of the Provincial Department of Propaganda and Training and Provincial Department of Culture and Sports; and the representatives of some units.

Inside the museum is the themed exhibition about prehistory and protohistory archaeology in Khanh Hoa featuring nearly 600 precious artifacts, including those unearthed from archaeological sites that hold significant historical and cultural significance and are being preserved at the museum. The exhibition also displays the collection of original Khanh Son lithophones, which have been recently recognized as national treasures by the Prime Minister. The exhibition is open to the public at no cost until April.

Within the precinct of the museum, there are exhibition of ornamental creatures; photo exhibition about Nha Trang City; exhibition of ancient items; Chung and Tet cake wrapping and cooking; calligraphy; portrait painting; folk games. 

The museum has called on some organizations and individuals to offer 700 Chung and Tet cakes to charity establishments that are taking care of orphans, people with disabilities and the elderly living alone in Nha Trang City, Ninh Hoa Town, and Cam Lam District.
