Satisfying expectations of Khanh Hoa artists

The fine art exhibition region V is jointly organized annually by Vietnam Fine Arts Association and localities. The most recent exhibition held in Khanh Hoa was in 2003. The organization of the 29th exhibition in Nha Trang City partly satisfies the expectations of many artists in Khanh Hoa as well as encourages young painters and sculptors. Through the 29th exhibition, the public can view high-quality works of art. This is also an opportunity to honor the artists’ work, their creativeness and achievements.

From the results of the exhibition, experts have the opportunity to review and evaluate the fine arts activities of each locality objectively and accurately. The exhibition will also serve as a place for the artists to exchange and learn from each other in order to promote the development of local fine arts. Fine art works reflecting traditional cultural values and socio-economic achievements are the introduction and promotion of the artists’ homeland and country.

“After many years, the regional art exhibition returns to Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa, which make the artists feel uplifted. With the artists who have built their reputation, participating in the exhibition shows their responsibility for local art activities. For young artists, this is a useful playground to introduce their talent to the public and experts,” said painter Le Van Duy, head of Khanh Hoa Fine Arts Association.
