Honoring 90 works winning press awards on national unity

The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front in association with Vietnam Journalists’ Association organized the closing and award ceremony of the 16th Press Awards for the Cause of Great National Unity, 2023-2024 in Hanoi on November 11. This was one of the activities to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).

The C Prize winners

Present at the ceremony were leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of central departments, ministries, and sectors; and leaders of central and local press agencies.

After 2 years of launching, the press awards received 2,135 valid entries in 5 categories, including printed and online newspaper, radio, television, and press photos from more than 100 central and local press agencies. The organizing committee had selected 90 outstanding works to honor, including 5 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 29 C prizes and 42 consolation prizes. Khanh Hoa Newspaper’s journalists won C prize in the printed newspaper category with a series of 4-part serial.
