Khanh Hoa’s Spring Newspaper Festival 2025 opens

Khanh Hoa Provincial Association of Journalists in association with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports opened the 2025 Spring Newspaper Festival at Khanh Hoa Library (8 Tran Hung Dao Street, Nha Trang City) on January 20. Present at the opening ceremony were Le Huu Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Huu Tho - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Department of Propaganda & Training; Pham Thi Xuan Trang - Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Thien - Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee; leaders of some provincial departments, sectors and press agencies; and reporters in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Le Huu Hoang highly appreciated the contributions of the press agencies, journalists and reporters in the province, members of the Provincial Journalists’ Association, and the representative press agencies of the central and Ho Chi Minh located in Khanh Hoa Province.

Khanh Hoa Province’s 2025 Spring Newspaper Festival displays more than 200 newspapers with over 3,000 publications from over the country; documents on the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 18th Provincial Party Congress; resolutions and action programs on building and developing Khanh Hoa Province to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

The festival ends on February 6 (lunar January 9). The organization committee will judge and give prizes to some most outstanding pieces of writing about Khanh Hoa and give the publications to local libraries, centers of culture, information and sports over the province and to the civilians and soldiers in Truong Sa (Spratly) District.
