2-4 Square (Ninh Hoa Town) was put into operation on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025. The square has become a favorite venue for people in Ninh Hoa Town.
 

Firework display on Lunar New Year’s Eve 2025 at 2-4 Square

People in Ninh Hoa Town are happy with the new square. They could see and enjoy Tet activities, especially the firework display on Lunar New Year’s Eve 2025, in a large area. “This is the first time I have seen music performances and fireworks in such a beautiful place in my hometown. I hope that there will be more events held at the square,” said Tong Quang Hung (Ninh Binh Commune). As said by Nguyen Phuong Duyen (Ninh Hiep Ward), 2-4 Square satisfies the needs of a public space for leisure activities of people in Ninh Hoa Town. “The square is large, is located conveniently and has necessary facilities,” said Duyen.

People in Ninh Hoa Town enjoy leisure time at 2-4 Square

Construction began in late September 2022, 2-4 Square is located in Ninh Hiep Ward, with a total area of 17,375m2. The design of the square resembles a ship, with the prow pointing towards the East Sea. The square is divided into two areas, separated by 2-4 Street, with the ceremonial area located to the west and the public square to the east. The ceremonial area serves as a stage for art performances. It is encircled by crescent flower beds. The public square includes facilities such as a fountain, flagpole, service building, internal roads, greenery, lawns, and parking lots.

Music performances at 2-4 Square

According to Nguyen Thanh Hung, head of Ninh Hoa Town Department of Culture, Science, and Information, 2-4 Square meets the needs of cultural and leisure activities of people in and outside Ninh Hoa Town; enhances the town's urban appeal. This place has become a gathering place for many local sports, cultural and music groups.
