In the bustling atmosphere towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), many people in the coastal city of Nha Trang have been carrying out many meaningful activities to show their love for the homeland and country.
In the past few days, a group of Nha Trang University students have been filming music videos of performances at public places where the national flag and the Party flag are erected and historical sites to praise the beauty of Vietnam. The songs used in these videos are the famous ones about the homeland and country loved by young people.

“Inspired by historical documentaries of our country in wartime and deeply moved by the heroism and staunchness of the previous generations, we planned to make the music videos to express our appreciation. We have posted these videos on the university's website and our social media accounts in order to contribute to strengthen love for the nation among our peers,” said Mai Hong Duy, third-year student from the Faculty of Economics.
These days, the members of Khanh Hoa Provincial UNESCO Association often wear Ao Dai and perform music performances about Uncle Ho and Vietnam at the area of Tram Huong Tower. The performances are broadcast live on social media sites with the aim of spreading patriotism. "As the whole country are uniting in observing the national reunification anniversary, we want to express our deep love and pride for the nation through our performances," said Nguyen Thi Chin, member of Khanh Hoa Provincial UNESCO Association.

These days, many groups of people in Youth Union uniform and Ao Dai, holding the national flag have filmed music videos and pose for photos at Tram Huong Tower, the area in front of the Provincial Conference Center and the flagpole at 2-4 Square (Nha Trang City) and then post on social media sites. Recently, at Gac Ma soldiers' memorial site (Cam Lam District), the lecturers and students from Nha Trang National College of Pedagogy have carried out a project namely road of national flags. These voluntary activities not only help beautify the streets and historical and cultural sites but also serve as a practical way to spread patriotism.
PhD Nguyen Viet Chuc, former Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children, feels very happy seeing Vietnamese people, especially young people doing things to express their love and pride towards the country. This also shows social responsibility of each person in strengthening national unity and protecting the country.
