Khanh Hoa Radio and Television jointly with Vietnam People's Navy held a political and artistic program "Truong Sa Vitality" to mark the 50th anniversary of Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelago liberation (April 29, 1975-2025).

Present at the event were Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Rear Admiral Do Van Yen, Deputy Political Commissar of the Navy; Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan, Commander of Naval Region 4; and Senior Lieutenant Colonel Bui Xuan Binh, Political Commissar of Naval Region 4.

The program showcased fascinating performances by more than 300 singers, actors, actresses, soldiers and children. Especially, there were heartfelt talks and reunions. They included the reflections of Navy soldiers who first set foot on Truong Sa 50 years ago, the touching reunions between a doctor and his patient, a fisherman during a sea voyage, and between a doctor and the family of the first baby born via cesarean section in Truong Sa.

The program also featured video reportages about the mission of liberating Truong Sa 50 years ago; the construction and sovereignty protection of Truong Sa. At the event, Truong Sa veterans donated some artifacts, photos and documents to Truong Sa Museum.

The political and artistic program “Truong Sa Vitality” brought a deeply emotional atmosphere with the exchange and connection of memories about Truong Sa over the 50 years since its liberation, while embodying the aspiration to safeguard the sea, protect the national marine sovereignty, and the commitment to building a thriving maritime nation.
