MC Talent for Kids 2025, interesting playground

MC Talent for Kids 2025 jointly organized by Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Thi Thao Training and Entertainment Company Limited officially begun with the preliminary round taking place at Khanh Hoa Newspaper office (A1 Street, An Binh Tan Urban Area, Nha Trang City) on 29 and 30. More than 200 young contestants enthusiastically participated in the preliminary round with interesting presentations.

In the preliminary round, many contestants showed that they had prepared carefully for their presentation and performance; some confidently overcame their limitations. Some contestants had problems with fluency, but they subsequently displayed commendable situational handling. Through two-minute presentations, many young contestants expressed their perspectives on topics of personal interest such as environmental protection and relationship with friends and teachers. Some shared their admiration for important historical figures; some told stories of how they overcame their personal challenge. Some contestants promoted Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa's tourism as a tour guide. There were also contestants expressing their wish for increased paternal engagement in leisure time.

Young contestants excitingly take part in MC Talent for Kids 2025 contest

The preliminary round saw many emotions of young contestants. They smiled brightly after performing well their presentation. Some expressed regret at not performing as well as expected. There were contestants performing confidently and there were also those who were shy when speaking in front of a crowd. 
Tran Thi Khanh Vy, a contestant from Phuoc Hoa Ward, Nha Trang City, presented about sea environmental protection. She had prepared material and practiced for many days and was very satisfied with her performance. Meanwhile, contestant Le Nguyen Vinh Khanh from Vinh Ngoc Primary School, Nha Trang introduced the upcoming Culture and Sea Tourism Festival in Nha Trang. “I wanted more people to know about this event, so with my parents' guidance, I had searched for information on newspapers and social media for my presentation. I had spent a lot of time practicing at home every day, so when I got on stage, I felt confident and presented smoothly," said Khanh.

Meaningful playground in summer

Khanh Hoa Newspaper cooperates with Thi Thao Training and Entertainment Company Limited organized MC Talent for Kids 2025 with the hope that the contest will support parents in developing their children’s linguistic thinking, presentation, and critical thinking to help the children become more confident in life.

Although the contest was just in its early stages, with the preliminary round just concluded, the on-stage performances have notably helped each contestant gain confidence and acquire new knowledge and skills. As said by contestant Luong Vu Chien (Nung ethnic minority) from Khanh Vinh District, his presentation was about self-confidence. Through his presentation, he wants to encourage people to always be confident to achieve their desires. His limitations are speaking softly and memorizing lines, so taking part in this MC contest also shows his determination to overcome his personal challenges. Thanks to hard practice, Chien was confidently delivered his presentation.

According to Nguyen Hong Xuan Hie, a member of the jury, the quality of the contestants participating in the preliminary round of MC Talent for Kids 2025 is better than that of similar contests in other localities. The contestants and their families had invested and prepared carefully for the contest. Khanh Hoa Newspaper's organization of this contest has created a highly beneficial playground for children. Today, the impact of social media often leads to children unconsciously mimicking trends in the arts, and particularly in MCing. This contest, to some extent, can help children develop a correct perspective on the work of an MC.

As said by Thai Thi Le Hang, Editor-in-Chief of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, MC Talent for Kids 2025 contest is a useful playground for children during the summer, offer them an opportunity to learn and explore more about famous landscapes, cultural heritages, the beauty Khanh Hoa. Through the contest, the organizing committee also hopes to discover promising young talent to collaborate in future programs of Khanh Hoa Newspaper as well as the members for young MC Club of Khanh Hoa Newspaper.

At the end of the preliminary round, the organizing committee selected 88 contestants with high scores for the semi-finals scheduled to take place on June 28. After the semi-finals, 12 excellent contestants along with 1 contestant with the highest number of votes on the BVOTE voting portal will enter in the final round, scheduled to take place on July 25.
