Presenting prizes to 11 outstanding works in "Nha Trang - Memories and Aspirations" contest 

Khanh Hoa Newspaper organized a ceremony to present prizes to the winners in "Nha Trang - Memories and Aspirations" contest on June 11. Present at the ceremony were Thai Thi Le Hang, Editor-in-Chief of Khanh Hoa Newspaper; representatives of the organizing committee, the jury; and representatives of the leaders of Nha Trang City and provincial agencies and units.

The writing contest was jointly organized by Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Nha Trang City People's Committee from February 3 to November 30, 2024 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the construction and development of Nha Trang City (1924 - 2024) and the 15th anniversary of Nha Trang being recognized as the class I municipality under Khanh Hoa Province (2009 - 2024).

More than 150 entries from authors in and outside the province were sent to Khanh Hoa Newspaper, writing about beautiful memories of Nha Trang City and local people; the city’s outstanding achievements in the fields of economic, cultural and society over 100 years of development; aspirations for a prosperous, modern, civilized and livable Nha Trang, etc.

The organizing committee selected nearly 50 works that met the criteria of the contest to publish on Khanh Hoa Newspaper and finally selected 11 prize-winning works, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes. The first prize of the contest was given to the work of Nguyen Vinh Xuong.
