Mission to national sea and islands
20-year-old Nguyen Thi My Linh, 1.7m tall, a student from Thanh Hoa University, made a significant impact at Miss Sea Island Vietnam 2025 not only with her stunning appearance, earning her "Best Face" prize, but also with her impressive presentation about the pageant’s core message. According to Dam Huong Thuy, head of the organizing committee, Miss Sea Island Vietnam 2025 aims to find a representative for Vietnamese beauty who can spread the message of preserving and sustainably developing marine and island resources and express her love and awareness for protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands. Miss Sea Island Vietnam 2025 is someone capable of inspiring and willing to join activities for the sake of nation’s sea and islands.
My Linh always showed enthusiasm in all activities of Miss Sea Island Vietnam 2025. In the final night, she continued to captivate both the judging panel and the audience with her exceptional performances in Ao Dai, swimsuit, and evening gown sections. Notably, in on-stage question section, My Linh delivered an impressive answer to the question "How do you perceive the beauty of Vietnam's sea and islands?”. “Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) islands are the sacred and integral parts of our nation. Generations of Vietnamese people sacrificed and dedicated themselves to protect national sea and islands. After participating in Miss Sea Island Vietnam 2025, I want to spread the love for our nation’s sea and islands and protect the marine environment. In my hometown, Thanh Hoa Province, I aspire to establish a club of young people to implement a campaign to protect Sam Son beach," said My Linh.

After being crowned Miss Seas and Islands Vietnam 2025, My Linh emphasized that the title serves as a source of motivation for her to implement more activities to protect environment and spread love for national sea and islands. "Nha Trang is a beautiful coastal city with developed tourism, making my coronation as Miss Seas and Islands Vietnam 2025 even more special. In the near future, I will try my best to carry out many activities to contribute to protection and promotion of the beauty of Vietnam's sea and islands to people domestically and internationally," added My Linh.
Spreading love for national sea and islands
Miss Seas and Islands Vietnam was first held in 2022, with Dinh Nhu Phuong (from Quang Binh Province) being crowned the inaugural winner. As said by Dam Huong Thuy, the beauty pageant aims to honor the beauty of Vietnamese women in connection with the image of the nation's sea and islands. It emphasizes the criteria of beauty, intelligence, bravery, and responsibility. The organizing committee will always accompany each contestant as well as the winner of Miss Seas and Islands Vietnam in radiating positive values to their families, communities and the country.

During her three-year tenure as Miss Seas and Islands Vietnam, Dinh Nhu Phuong actively participated in numerous activities to promote the image and beauty of Vietnam's sea and islands such as marine environmental protection activities in Nghe An, Quang Binh, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Can Gio (Ho Chi Minh City) and providing scholarships to children in coastal regions. Miss Seas and Islands Vietnam 2022 Nhu Phuong hopes that her successor will carry a deep-seated love for national sea and islands and will fulfill the significant responsibility and mission of being an inspiring voice for the nation's maritime treasures.
