On August 18, Nguyen Long Bien, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting with some provincial departments and sectors on preparations for activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

According to the report from the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Khanh Hoa Province is set to build an exhibition booth about country's achievements at the National Exhibition Center (Hanoi); take part in the culinary exhibition and virtual reality exhibition and digital map featuring 34 centrally governed provinces and cities. In addition, the province will organize large-scale activities, including the groundbreaking ceremonies for four key projects; special art program held at 2-4 Square in Nha Trang Ward and 16-4 Square in Đong Hai Ward completing with a low-altitude fireworks display; walking event namely Marching with Vietnam at 2-4 Square (already held); the 17th Southeast Asian taekwondo championship and youth tournament and the international taekwondo club championships 2025; VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025; and a digital technology event.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien basically agreed with the proposal of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and requested to include Miss Ocean Vietnam 2025 in the program as well as adding some activities such as cultural and culinary weeks.
