The Department of Cultural Heritage will cooperate with the provincial departments of culture, sports and tourism, relevant agencies, units and localities to implement the project.
The pottery-making craft of Cham people in Bau Truc Village is one of the typical intangible cultural heritages with unique historical and artistic value. Bau Truc pottery village is recognized as one of the ancient pottery villages in Southeast Asia and has unique technique of shaping clay entirely by hand, without using a turntable and baking potteries outdoors with firewood and straw. In November 2022, Bau Truc pottery-making craft was recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding.
