Khanh Hoa Children's Cultural Palace: Diverse activities

Khanh Hoa Provincial Children's Cultural Palace has been effectively maintaining its activities and skills classes for children. Many clubs, teams and groups have been organized, contributing to the enhancement of the quality of supplemental education outside of school. 

On weekday evenings, a lot of children attend classes such as English, fine arts, musical instruments, computer skills, and martial arts. "The Children's Cultural Palace now has many new, more spacious classrooms with more tools for studying and activities than before. I really enjoy participating in activities here," said Nguyen Tue An, a fine arts pupil.

According to Huynh Thi Nhu Y, director of the Provincial Children's Cultural Palace, at the beginning of 2025, children's skills classes were temporarily held at various locations while waiting for the construction of the Provincial Children's Cultural Palace to be completed and put into use. During this period, the unit opened 2 courses 158 and 159 with over 1,600 children participating in classes such as English, fine arts, dance, musical instruments, singing, martial arts, chess, computer skills, and skills clubs. In June, following the palace’s inauguration, the palace organized courses 160, 161, and 162, which attracted over 5,200 leaners. Currently, the unit is enrolling course 163.

Thanks to the support from the province’s authorities, the Provincial Children's Cultural Palace have been invested in terms of facilities to serve enrollment and teaching activities. To date, the palace is not only a place for physical and spiritual training but also a venue for implementing and practicing various Youth Union and Young Pioneer activities, thereby contributing significantly to enhancing the quality of out-of-school education.

The Provincial Children's Cultural Palace currently maintains regular operations for its clubs and groups. These clubs and groups frequently participate in cultural and artistic programs in the province as well as province-level and region-level cultural contests. The Provincial Children's Cultural Palace also has an area for outdoor leisure activities. The physical and sports zone is equipped with new facilities. 

As said by Huynh Thi Nhu Y, driven by current needs, in the time to come, the Provincial Children's Cultural Palace will continue to strengthen its human resources and facilities to ensure its effective professional operations and to serve the regular activities of the Youth Union and Young Pioneer organizations and the province; build a modern learning environment; open new classes to meet the increasingly high demands of learners.
