According to the initial plan, the 6th Cham ethnic group cultural festival was scheduled to take place in Khanh Hoa Province from December 5 to December 7. However, the recent heavy rain and floods in Khanh Hoa and other central provinces caused severe losses and damages to people's lives and production. Following the Prime Minister's direction on focusing on resolving and recover from the consequences of the natural disaster and the request of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to postpone the 6th Cham ethnic group cultural festival and will cooperate with Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and relating ministries, sectors and localities to organize the festival at a suitable time.
