The story about Vinpearl began in 2001 when its investor and Architect Claude Cuvelier paid their first visit to Tre Island, which used to be a small fishing village. They have worked together to locate the first constructions featuring Asian architecture without damaging the natural surroundings. Great effort has been made to build the place to become an attractive destination in Nha Trang City.
To protect the environment and save water, the main investor of Vinpearl has invested a modern water treatment system with a total cost of USD3 million. Waste water after being treated is used for watering plants. Especially, a desalination system has just been put into operation with a capacity of 1,000m3/ day to convert sea water to fresh water. The effort has confirmed the trademark of Green Vinpearl.
Leaning against the mountains, Vinpearl Resort & Spa has a seafront view. Vinpearl is covered by a tropical green vegetation like a green pearl on Nha Trang Bay.
