Aftering studying tours in Nha Trang carefully, a group of four young people from Ho Chi Minh City booked a 2 day/1 night tour to Hon Ba with Yoga practice added in its program.
They traveled to the mountain by motorbike in stead of car to get more adventurous feelings. The road to Hon Ba winds along the mountain, creating beautiful landscapes for tourists to take photographs. Overcoming about 60 kilometers, the group reached Hon Ba peak at an altitude of 1,578 meters. Hon Ba appeared wild and impressive with immense forests, high mountains and wrapped by drifting clouds.
Dr. Yersin house was the first spot the tourists visited. After visiting and studying about this historical spot, the group joined an exchange with each others. And then, when the night came, tour operators held an interesting program related to Yoga such as Kaoshikii dance, Tandavan dance, tea ceremony study, Kiirtan singing and Zen. In the morning, tourists continued being instructed Yoga practice, then each of them found a suitable place to meditate. At noon, the tourists went down the mountain. “It’s was a different trip. Hon Ba has enabled us to contemplate imposing landscapes and moments to purify ourselves”, said Tran Vy Nhu Thao, a tourist from Vung Tau.

According to Le Kim Nhut, director of Nha Trang Tre, the tourism firm operating this tour, Hon Ba is an ideal place to organize tours of discovering nature associated with Yoga study. At present, the company holds this tour for about 4 groups of 15. Most of the people who take the tour are young people who like discovery.
Besides, some other companies often take tourists to Hon Ba according to their tour programs. One of the most well-known is Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Tourist Company, The company is managing some vestiges related to the life of Dr. A. Yersin, who used to live and did his research on Hon Ba mountain, and operating tours to Hon Ba associated with studying about the world-famous doctor meaningfully.
