A booth of An Giang Province featured its specialties including palm sugar, shredded dried fish and brocade of Cham people in An Giang while Kon Tum’s booth was special with gongs, Ngoc Linh ginsengs, tobacco pipes, etc. Le Hoang Ngoc Vu, Tourism Professional Bureau of Kon Tum Province said, “This is the joint effort of the Department of Culture, Sport & Tourism and the Provincial Tourism & Service Promotion Center. We’d like to introduce a romantic tourist destination named Mang Den Ecological Resort.”
Khanh Hoa Province, where Bao Dai Villas are situated, promoted itself with a model of a throne, which visitors are invited to seat on to experience the great feeling of becoming a king.
The festival aimed to mark the 35th anniversary of the South’s liberation and the national reunification (April 30) and the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi with a record number of revelers, over 100,000. Held annually, Ho Chi Minh City’s Tourism Festival is a great rendezvous for travel companies, hotels and airlines both inside and outside the city. It is designed to promote tourism industry by introducing a wide range of culinary specialties and attractive tourist destinations.
