Khanh Hoa Province People’s Committee has just ratified 1/500 planning for Area A of Hon Ngang – Bai Cat Tham Marine Ecological Tourist Site in Dam Mon Hamlet, Van Thanh Commune, Van Ninh District, Khanh Hoa Province. The planning area will include villas, resorts, spa village, pedestrian mall and golf course.

° Convenient for tourism investment
The whole planning area covers 132 hectares in land. Area A is bordered by East Sea to the north and the east, Area B to the south and a road which is the axis of Dam Mon Economic Zone to the west.
This area has a very beautiful landscape with long beach, white sand, blue sea and mountains surround its. The climate here is pure and warm all year. Therefore, it is very suitable for tourism. The area also is linked with other places by road, rail, waterway and air (in the future). Belonging to Van Phong Economic Zone, this area enjoys investment incentives. Moreover, this is an uncultivated land which is convenient for clearance. This is a big chance for investors to develop tourism and economic activities here.
° Attractive marine ecological tourist site
The planning area is planned to become a marine ecological tourist site. It includes many functional sectors. The central sector, 2.5 hectares in area, is located in the middle of the tourist area to be connected with other sectors easily. Resort sector has two luxurious resorts, namely Fairwave Resort (16.9 hectares) and Sandy Resort (12.9 hectares). Villa sector, comprises marine ecological villas and hill ecological ones. Green trees are grown among villas to set up a airy and quiet scenery. In addition, there are a lot of subdiary works such as parking lot, gardens, sports ground and playing ground for children.
Golf course and sports center are located near the central sector. They are of international standards. Wharf, 3.1 hectares in area, is a place where vessels may lie close alongside and tourists may enjoy the sea view. Pedestrian mall, 2.9 hectares in area, introduces tourist products to tourists. Additionally, the tourist area has a 2.9-hectare ecological spa village behind Hon Ngang Mountain and a high-class resort on the mountain peak.
