Recently, Quyet Tien Production-Trade One-member Company in Khanh Hoa Province presented a technical model of PE, PP and HD plastic material production from waste plastic. This is a positive way in partly reducing environmental pollution.

Plastic bags are very popular in nowaday life. For example, housewives always leave markets with some plastic bags carrying their purchases. Both retailers as well as consumers like to use plastic bags because they are cheap, strong, lightweight, functional, as well as a hygienic means of carrying food as well as other goods. However, their effect lasts very little. Plastic bags soon are thrown into the rubbish bins right after the goods in them is taken out. Then, waste plastic bags are responsible for causing pollution, killing wildlife, and using up the precious resources of the earth as it takes a very long time (about 1000 years) for a plastic bag to disintergrate.
There’s a fact that 30 percent of 300 tons of garbage in Nha Trang now are waste plastic bags and the city spends big amounts of money on moving them to other places to clean the residental areas each year. Thus, garbage disposal now is a difficult problem.
For above reasons, plastic material production from waste presented by Quyet Tien Production – Trade One-member Company is considered as an effective solution to gargabe disposal, partly lessening the environmental pollution. After being collected and cleansed, plastic wastes, most of which are plastic bags, will be recycled to plastic material by a mechanized system of the company. At present, the company produces about 85 tons of plastic materials each month and supplies them for many markets. The company has also created jobs for about 50 laborers.
Deputy Director of the provincial Trade Promotion and Industry Encouragement Center Le Ngoc affirmed that Quyet Tien Company’s plastic material production from waste plactic things has contributed a lot to garbage disposal and poluttion reduction efforts of the province. Success of the company also proves that this is an encouraging model.
