Phu Khanh Petroleum Company located in Nha Trang is a member of Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation (Petrolimex), trading petrol and oil in the Southern Central region. Over 35 years of establishment and development, the company has built up its brand name by quality of products and services. Recently, the company has been awarded the Third-class Independent Medal.
Nha Trang Petroleum Station, established in December, 1975 is the precursor of Phu Khanh Petroleum Company. Over 35 years of development, the company has spent four periods. In the period of 1975 – 1990, the company provided petrol and oil according to fixed quota. In the period of 1991 – 2000, the company spent a busiest period of petroleum business when the subsidy economy ended. The total sales of the company in this period reached 1,955,640m3, getting a turnover of VND3,995 billion, a profit of VND81 billion and delivering VND221 billion to the treasure. In the period of 2001 – 2005, the company focused on improving business mechanism and finance management. In the period of 2006 – 2010, the company has speeded up its growth rate. Beside regulating market, Phu Khanh Petroleum Company aims to become a leading petroleum traders in the region. In this period, the company targets to build its brand name by quality of products and services. Specifically, it has sold 2,177,000m3 of petrol and oil with a turnover of VND18,000 billion, getting VND180 billion in profit, delivering VND800 billion to the treasure and having a growth rate of 9% per year. The company now has 150 retail agents. In addition, it is importing oil at Van Phong Bay. From May, 2002 to end 2010, 6,253,724 tons of oil has been imported and VND9,012 billion has been paid in tax.

To meet the rising business, Phu Khanh Petroleum Company has repaired and upgraded Vinh Nguyen Warehouse and the oil importing port. The upgrade of material facilities and new technologies not only better service quality but also help economic – technical norms to be built exactly and meet modernization program of the Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation.
Phu Khanh Petroleum Company frequently joins charitable activities with more than VND200 million a year. The company has built 15 houses of gratitude, supported four Vietnamese heroic mothers, paid visits to revolutionary families, gave presents to Spratly soldiers and border guards and sent relief to disaster areas.
With steady steps, Phu Khanh Petroleum Company has contributed to building Petrolimex brand name and will fulfill new targets on its way of development.
