Tourists to flock to Nha Trang on Tet holiday

Tet holiday is a good time to travel. Nha Trang is a favourite destination of tourists on this occasion...

According to two big Vietnamese travel firms Saigontourist and Vietravel, a large number of tourists have booked their tours to Nha Trang during Tet. At this time, flights on February 4 and 5 (the second and the third of the lunar new year) have been fully booked. Beside tourists in groups of travel firms, many other people plan to travel to Nha Trang on Tet holiday.

As the holiday this year lasts 8 days, the number of tourists to Nha Trang is forecast to rise sharply on Tet. Beauty spots in Nha Trang still are attractive to tourists. Favorite ones are Vinpearl Land, Thap Ba Spring, Nha Trang Institue of Oceanography, Doc Let Beach and Dam Market.

Hotels in Nha Trang have been booked mostly. Vinpearl Land has been full during the time from end January to early February while room occupation of Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel has been 85% so far and Novotel’s is 70%. The figures will rise more when Tet comes.

The provincial People’s Committee has delivered a decision to stabilize room price during the holiday, preventing the excessive soar.

In addition, the provincial authority has directed the tourism department and concerned departments to inspect and control public order and food safety, aiming to create the best tourism environment.

Nha Trang has been well-decorated with flowers and lights on main streets. The beach city will welcome tourists during the traditional holiday.
