Khanh Hoa Province targets to welcome 2.15 million arrivals and get a turnover of VND2.050 billion in 2011. The whole tourism department are trying to make the province chosen by more tourists.
Tourism of Khanh Hoa Province achieved a good result in 2010. 1.84 million tourists, including 390,000 foreign ones came to the province. The total turnover of tourism in 2010 was VND1,880 billion. Additionally, infrastructure for tourism has developed deeply and tourist products and services have been diversified and raised quality. Owning more than 11,700 rooms, Khanh Hoa ranks the fourth in the country, following Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Quang Ninh. The province targets to welcome 2.15 million arrivals, including 450,000 international ones, with a turnover of VND2,050 billion.

To reach the target, the province are stepping up diversifying tourist products, raising services’ quality and human resource for tourism, said Truong Dang Tuyen, director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Sea Festival 2011 and many other interesting events in Nha Trang, one of the most beautiful bay in the world, are expected to attract a lot of arrivals to this ideal destination as the Nation Tourism Year 2011 focuses on beaches and islands.
“Nha Trang so far has organized culture and arts events for tourism very well. However, with an annual expenditure of VND1.5 million to advertise tourism, Khanh Hoa has not been introduced to many tourists. It’s a current difficulty of the province”, Tuyen said.
