Under policies of the Government and the provincial authority and with the effort of businesses and the people, Ninh Hoa Town fulfilled many economic targets of the first six months this year.
Industrial production value of the town in the first half of the year hit VND2,194 billion, increasing by 44.83% year-on-year. Of the sum, foreign invested sector made up VND1,194 billion (53.1% up), sectors of businesses, limited companies and joint stock companies reached VND209 billion (5.72% up) and individual sector got VND39.7 billion (9.22% up). Meanwhile, collective-economy sector and State-own sector saw decreases of 8.18% and 23.07%, respectively.

Ninh Hoa town’s total production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery in the six months hit VND295 billion (3.65% up). The production value of agriculture was VND206 billion (3.44% up) and the figure of fishery was VND84 billion (3.75% up).
Due to the bad weather, productivity of this year’s Winter – Spring rice crop in Ninh Hoa reached 50 quintals/ha, decreasing by 3.3 quintals/ha. Now, the town is sowing the seeds of the Summer – Autumn rice crop.

Natural fishery yield of the town hit 817 tons, fulfilling 61.23% of the year’s target and increasing 0.41% year-on-year.
Service and tourism also show a stable growth. More products of tourism, service and commerce have been launched and many large-scale projects have been put into service.
Along with the economic development, Ninh Hoa attached importance to social policies. So far this year, the town has given vocational training to 2,663 rural laborers and creates jobs for 2,550 laborers. Other fields such as administrative reform and cultural – sports activities also kept stable.
