Many rock gardens in many famous tourist areas such as Vinpearl Land and Ba Na Hill were made by Phung.
He also has a talent for planting. He can cover barren lands with a wide green of trees and grass in a very short time.
Phung says that having a lot of experience after many years of working with rockeries and plants, he feels planting is not difficult, even on gravelly or barren soil.
To build up gardens in a tourist area, he had to spend time surveying its soil to find out how to grow, directly or using sand to help trees take root. On barren land, sand mediates trees and soil, helping trees familiarize with the environment and grow up. On gravelly soil, he often has to take rich soil from other places to cover on the land, and then plant trees.

Coming to Waterland Thach Lam Stream on summer days, visitors can rest in shades of the big and high trees, which have been grown up in the tourist area for only three months. Especially, this is the first place in Khanh Hoa Province having games of rafting, grass skiing, driving and paintball shooting.
