With the admirable landscape and the newly-built entrance, Ninh Van Commune in Ninh Hoa District, Khanh Hoa Province becomes a potential land for tourism development.
Ninh Van formerly was a secluded island commune at the foot of Hon Heo Mountain. With three sides leaning on the mountain and the another overlooking the sea, it’s only by sea to enter this land.
However, some investor have chosen Ninh Van for tourism. Firstly, in December, 2004, Six Senses Ninh Vân Bay started operation with 54 luxury villas. The 5-star resort, costing USD250 – USD1000/room/night, has become a favorite of high-class tourists who like its romantic and desolate island, clean and sunny beach and favorable climate. During the past few years, Six Senses Ninh Vân Bay has received many honorable awards from domestic and international tourism associations.
After success of Six Senses Ninh Vân Bay, in April, 2011, the second project opened in Ninh Van called An Lam Ninh Van Bay, which is also a five-star resort.

Recently, the newly-built road from Ninh Phuoc to Ninh Van has really awaked the island commune. The 11km road winding along Hon Heo mountain side and the sea creates a picturesque entrance to the land. With this road, Ninh Van is expected to be a good place for tourism. The commune now has six valid tourism projects, 2 of which, including Six Senses Ninh Van Bay and An Lam Ninh Van Bay, have come into operation and 4 are in progress, according to Tra Thi Bong Sen, chairwoman of the commune.
Central Party Member, Khanh Hoa Province Party Secretary, and Khanh Hoa Province People’s Council Chairman Le Thanh Quang also appreciated tourism potential of Ninh Van and believed the commune’s socioeconomic development in the coming time.
