Christmas is coming all over the world. Nha Trang also has many interesting activities to welcome Christmas.
On main streets of the city, Christmas things appear everywhere. Bookshops and souvenir shops sell Christmas trees, decorations, Christmas toys, Santa clothes, snowmen and many others. Coffee shops, bars, restaurants and hotel are well-decorated to welcome Christmas season.
“I have celebrated Christmas in Nha Trang for 4 years. Christmas in Nha Trang is very peaceful. Most our customers are foreigners, so our restaurant always makes good preparation for Christmas. Beside decoration, we have traditional Christmas dishes”, said Anton Novoselov, 33, the Russian owner of Checkpoint Bar & Restaurant on Nguyen Thien Thuat Street.
Christmas seems to come nearer when big hotels in Nha Trang like Sunrise, Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang, Sheraton, Novotel… light their huge Christmas trees and announce interesting programs on Christmas Eve.
Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa will have a luxurious buffet on a Christmas atmosphere with White Angels chorus, violin - guitar concert and other performances. There will be a lot of dishes such as goose liver pâté with forest strawberry sauce, spaghetti with lobsters, grouper fillet, mussel with smoked tomatoes and turkey. The dishes will be made by French chief Michel Sevey.

Novotel Nha Trang will also organize a buffet with rich menu such as French goose liver, Spanish ham and lobsters. Especially, there will be a lucky lots draw for valuable prizes such as free stay at Accor’s hotels, night buffet at Square Restaurant and relaxation at Vous Spa.
Similarly, Hon Tam Sea & Sun will have a Christmas party with 40 European – Asian dishes.
Other hotels like Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang, Sheraton Nha Trang and Michelia also will hold buffets and music shows on Christmas Eve.
Beside big hotel, coffee shops in Nha Trang like Phu Si, Hon Kien and Champa Club will organize music shows on Christmas Eve.
