Lunar New Year Festival (Tet) is coming. Hotels and tourist spots in Nha Trang also are preparing the most interesting programs with a hope to bring a meaningful Tet for tourists to come Nha Trang on this occasion.
Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa started its activities by raising Tet pole according to Vietnamese custom with the participation of a lot of tourists on January 16. Additionally, the hotel will open a cooking course of Vietnamese dishes on Tet for tourists who love Vietnamese cuisine. Especially, from January 24 to 28, there will be spring buffets at its Imperial Restaurant with Vietnamese Tet dishes along with other European – Asian ones.

Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel has been well-decorated to welcome Tet. From January 16 to 22, a spring flower fair displays and sells many kinds of spring flowers and ornamental plants at the hotel’s garden. Additionally, the hotel will display a original collection of wine empty bottles on this occasion. From January 24 – 26, there will be spring buffets with delicious Vietnamese dishes at Abalone Restaurant. Especially, the hotel will make a 37-meter long Tet cake (cylindric glutinous rice cake) at its front on January 24 and then, on January 25, the cake cut to raise charity fund will take place.
Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort & Spa will organize traditional music shows and unicorn dances on the Lunar New Year Eve (January 22) and the first day of the new year (January 23). From January 25 to 29, there will be variety shows and folk games at Vinpearl Amusement Park. During Tet, the guests can go to Truc Lam Pagoda on the island to pray for wishes. Two islands of Hoa Lan Stream and Hon Lao have interesting folk games during Tet. Especially, paintball shooting game has just been opened at Hoa Lan Stream.
Other hotels and tourist spots in Nha Trang also have their own programs to celebrate the traditional Tet.
Khanh Hoa surely will welcome a large number of tourists during Tet, said the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. 80% rooms in Nha Trang has been booked. However, prices of rooms, food and services during Tet will be stabilized by the provincial authority. Therefore, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa will be really an ideal place to enjoy spring.
