Nha Trang will welcome a large number of tourists on New Year holiday 2012. Beside expected event of Heineken Countdown Party at 2-4 Square, hotels and resorts in Nha Trang will have delicious buffets and interesting program for tourists to celebrate New Year.
°Tourist number rising
Weather in Nha Trang these days is very fine, ideal for tourism. The coastal city is also well-decorated to welcome New Year 2012. Up to now, there have been a large number of guests booking to visit Nha Trang on New Year holiday. In three days from December 30, 2011 to January 1, 2012, Khanh Hoa Province will receive more than 29,000 tourists, including 8,800 foreigners, estimated the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Hotels reveal that the number of foreign guests on New Year holiday has risen sharply than previous years, especially Russian ones. The number of domestic guests also increase. Vietravel only will bring about 2,000 tourist to Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa on this occasion, a 40% increase over last season, according to Nguyen Minh Man, an official of the travel firm.

°Many places to celebrate New Year
On New Year Eve, most big hotels and resorts in Nha Trang have buffets and interesting New Year celebration for guests.
Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel and Spa offers a Gala Dinner with 70 delicious dishes along with attractive performances such as Raglay musical instruments, Vietnamese folk music, prestidigitation, break-dance and dance with DJ. Especially, on January 6, Sunrise will organize Russian Christmas with Russian food and Russian music.
Also on New Year Eve, Novotel Nha Trang will hold a buffet with European dishes such as honeyed ham, Argentina’s roasted fillet beef, grilled lobster, Pastrami ham, Black Forest ham, smoked goose chest and smoked salmon. Guests will enjoy violin and guitar concert music here.
At Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel, the New Year Gala Dinner will have 40 dishes, music and fashion show. On the movement of New Year Eve, the hotel will release 2,012 balloons with good wishes to the sky.
Especially, there will be a countdown party at 2-4 Square with music performances of domestic and international singers and dancers, fireworks and countdown to New Year. This event will be held in Nha Trang for the first time.
