Beside the fantastic landscape with sea and islands, the favorable climate and hospitable people, Khanh Hoa Province features a history and a culture attractive for tourists to discover.

First, Khanh Hoa has a long-standing history with a lot of discovered archaeological vestiges such as Xom Con, Hoa Diem, Vinh Yen and Van Tu Dong. Relics found there prove the presence of ancient Vietnamese people in the province and show ancient culture through times.

Historical vestiges are also abundant, for example Dr. Alexandre Yersin Tomb, Dien Khanh Ancient Citadel, Bao Dai Villa, Cay Bang Villa, Hung King Temple, Tran Hung Dao Temple, Tran Quy Cap Temple and Trinh Phong Temple. These vestiges commemorate famous characters in Vietnamese history. They help to raise the awareness of history as well as spiritual life of the province’s people.

Khanh Hoa has many cultural vestiges of Cham architecture such as Ponagar Temple, Long Son Pagoda, Dien Khanh Temple, Ninh Hoa Prefect, Am Chua, Ba Vu Tomb and Phu Cang Communal House.

Natural beauty spots in the province such as Chong Rock, Hon Do, Hon Heo, Dat Do, Ta Gu Waterfall are attractive owning to not only beautiful landscapes but also fanciful legends.

Annually, Khanh Hoa holds many big cultural festivals, including Ponagar Temple Festival, Am Chua Festival, Bach Dang Victory Festival, Hung King Death Anniversary and Fish Pray. Especially, Sea Festival taking place every two years in Nha Trang with a lot of interesting activities of culture, arts and sports, has drawn a large number of tourists to Nha Trang.

Additionally, traditional trade villages in the province such as My Trach Mat Handicraft Village in Ninh Hoa Township, Lu Cam Pottery Village in Nha Trang and Phu Loc Bronze Village in Dien Khanh District enrich the province’s culture.

Visitors to Khanh Hoa also can enjoy intangible culture such as Tuong (Vietnamese classical drama), Choi Singing and lithophone.

The deep culture has diversified tourism products of Khanh Hoa Province, luring more foreign tourists who always want to discover difference among cultures.
