30 delicious dishes from oysters will make up an oyster week at Len Palace, 137 Hoang Van Thu, Nha Trang, from April 22 to May 2. Oyster dishes will be discounted up to 50% during the week.
Len Palace has made a careful preparation for the event. More than 35,000 oyster shells have been collected and formed a big dragon in front of the restaurant.
Tran Manh Hung, manager of Len Palace said, “Oyster is extremely nutritious, especially improving men’s sexual health. It’s so favorite that many places in Eastern America often organize oyster festivals. Additionally, price of oysters is far lower than other kinds of seafood. This is also the most blooming time of oysters in the year. Accordingly, we decide to host an oyster feast. We have chosen the best oysters in Ninh Ich Commune, Ninh Hoa District to make dishes. 1 – 2 tons of oysters may be consumed during the week”.

The oyster week is a big party of 30 dishes from oysters. It features familiar dishes such as grilled oyster with lemon pepper sauce, grilled oyster with spring onion, baked oyster and Sashimi oyster as well as nutritious hot dishes such as oyster gruel with lotus seed and oyster soup with seaweed. It also has other strange dishes such as fried oyster with egg in Chiu Chow style, fried oyster with fruit sauce, fresh oyster with Italian black vinegar, Thai style fresh oyster, baked oyster with cheese and tomato, Szechuan style sauced oyster, oyster sauced with five kinds of mushrooms, dried oyster stewed with goose leg and pancake with oyster and mushroom.
Khuu Duc Hien, Head Chef of Len Palace revealed that his cook staff have researched and created original dishes from oyster agreeable to tastes of Vietnamese people as well as foreigners.
Most customers who have eaten oyster dishes at Len Palace gave them compliments. “I’m very fond of fresh oyster in Thai style at Len Palace. Oysters sauced with 5 kinds of mushrooms also have good taste”, Thanh Hang, a guest said.
