Northern Central Southern Vietnam Economic Exchange Fair 2012 will be held at the Youth's Park in Nha Trang City from April 26 to May 3 by Trong Dong Viet- Hanoi Event Management Company. Khanh Hoa Newspaper has had an interview with Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Chief of the fair organizing board.
Reporter: What is the highlight of the Economic Exchange Fair 2012, sir?
Nguyen Anh Tuan: The fair is held on the occasion of the national holidays, April 30 and May 1, with 4 days off work. The entertaining and shopping demand is expected to increase significantly. The fair draws more than 300 stands from some 150 businesses nationwide. A diverse range of products is displayed at the fair, including garment, cosmetics, electronic & home appliances, food and so on with many promotional programs with gifts and lucky draw tickets every evening. There are musical performances every night featuring famous singers such as Dam Vinh Hung, Dan Truong, Ly Hai, etc.
Reporter: What is new about this year's fair?
Nguyen Anh Tuan: This year, the number of small traders registering for the participation in the fair decreases. Most businesses aim to advertise their trade names and products. Over 40 businesses in Khanh Hoa Province with about 100 stands are present at the fair. The number is much higher than last year. Typical businesses include Khanh Hoa Salangane's Nest Company, Hung Dao Container Joint Stock Company in Nha Trang, Dai Thanh Electrical Appliance Supermarket, etc. One of the main changes is the arrangement of stands from large to small scale. Big businesses' stands are in convenient locations to enhance trade advertisement efficiency. Everything is ready for the opening night on April 26. The admission is free during daytime and VND20,000/ticket from 6pm.
Reporter: The ticket price is quite expensive for average income earners? The ticket was even up to VND50,000 for the night with the performance of Singer Dam Vinh Hung last year.
Nguyen Anh Tuan: We have to increase the ticket price from VND15,000 to VND20,000 due to soaring cost. Admission price at most fairs in other cities and provinces nationwide has increased. Therefore, I think the ticket price is reasonable and will be kept fixed during the fair.
