Swimwear market is getting busy these days according to hot weather.
Swimwear may be found in many places in Nha Trang, especially at shops in Tran Phu Street, Phan Chu Trinh Street, Dam Market and supermarkets.
Swimsuits are very fashionable with a lot of colors, designs and trademarks. Beside swimsuits with simple patterns and light colors, there are a lot of motley kinds in color-block style this year. Swimsuits for children also are pretty with lovely patterns.
A swimsuit for women is selling from VND80,000 to VND900,000 depending on their trademark and origin. Swimming trunks for men cost from VND40,000 to VND80,000 while those for children cost from VND50,000 to VND60,000.

Popular swimming glasses are selling from VND50,000 to VND70,000. Superior ones imported from Korea and USA are priced from VND170,000 up to VND800,000.
Swim caps made from rubber are worth from VND50,000 to VND200,000 each.
Buoys and life-jackets cost from VND70,000 to VND300,000 each. Especially, buoys for children have many funny shapes and colors, costing about VND80,000.
Other kinds of beachwear such as hats and veils also sell well these days. A veil costs from VND40,000 to VND120,000 while a broad-brimmed hat is sold from VND40,000 to VND150,000.
“Sales of beachwear have risen by 50 – 100% over two months ago. Prices of most products have increased by 15 – 20% over last summer due to the rise in prices of materials and transport fees”, revealed Le Thi Tuyet, a shop owner at Dam Market.
