Khanh Hoa Province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has developed a lot of measures for administrative reform.
Defining administrative reform as a significant duty, the provincial department has trained its staff to implement it. Every year, the department has done administrative reform, focusing on simplifying administrative formalities, checking and solving problems. Additionally, the department has promoted applications of information technology and TCVN ISO 9001:2008 quality management system into administrative management.
Procedure for license (of advertisement, karaoke service, art program organization) is posted at “One Stop” division. The “One Stop” division always stores data to monitor applications for license. Any questions will be answered here.

In 2011, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism granted 1,683 licenses. Most of them were made ahead of or on schedule. Late licences were due to lacks of some papers.
Getting 90 marks out of 100 in 2011’s administrative reform, the department ranked 5 out of 34 in the province. The ranking has recognized effective administrative reform at the department.
Truong Dang Tuyen, director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said, “Administrative reform have made frequently and in a long term. Owning to explicit announcement of procedures and application of information technology, administrative reform at the department has been made effectively. In the time to come, the department will continue more information technology applications and improve our staff more.”
