Up to this time, hotels in Nha Trang still have vacancies for the holiday. Booking rate at 1-star hotels is about 40%, 2-star ones: 55% and 3 – 5 star ones: 60%, reported the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Most hotels believe that the number of guests will rise more sharply when the holiday comes nearer.

Raju Nair Kurup, manager of Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa, said, “Vietnamese people are not accustomed to booking rooms in advance. Guests will come more on the time. We will not raise room prices during the holiday.”

However, 1-2 star hotels have increased their prices. A room overlooking the sea now is quoted about VND600,000 – VND700,000 per night and a normal room costs about VND350,000 – VND500,000 per night.

. Tourist spots renewed to lure tourists

Thap Ba Hot Spring is forecast to receive 6 – 7 thousands visitors during the holiday. “Recently, Thap Ba Hot Spring has expand its mud bath area with more ten lakes. The scenery has been embellished to welcome guests”, said Huynh Thi Kim Cuc, director of Sao Mai 21^St Century Company Limited.

Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa plans to organize two open-air buffets on September 1 and 2 to introduce tourists delicious dishes of Nha Trang.

To attractive tourists on holiday, Waterland Thach Lam Stream has launched some new games such as rafting, grass sliding and water sliding. The 18-hole mini golf course and the paintball club here are also very favorite. On this occasion, the tourist area has added new dishes at Hoa Lam Restaurant and its rural market.
