Owning to effective administrative reform, Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone has promoted more investment here.
In 2009, Khanh Hoa Province People’s Committee announced 11 administrative formalities which Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone undertakes.
Then, the management board suggested adjusting and reducing some administrative formalities to facilitate investors.
Incentives to the economic zone and industrial zones have been disclosed.
Ground clearance and resettlement support also have done flexibly and effectively.
Additionally, the management board have entrusted professional cadres at “One gate” section and announced all administrative formalities, which brings confidence for investors.
Especially, the board has reformed administrations effectively according to ISO 9001:2008 standard. Therefore, files of investors are always solved quickly.
In the first six months of 2012, the management board solved 130 files, all of which were on schedule.
“Along with investment promotion, the administrative reform has contributed to draw investors to Van Phong Economic Zone. More and more investors have come here in specific and Khanh Hoa Province”, said Hoang Dinh Phi, deputy manager of the economic zone.
Van Phong Economic Zone now has attracted 120 projects with a total registered investment of USD14.2 billion.
Suoi Dau and Ninh Thuy economic zones have drawn 55 projects with USD105.08 million and VND4,223 billion.
To reform administrative works more effectively, beside improving mechanism and system as well as applying information technology and ISO quality management system, Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone continues adjusting administrative formalities to facilitate investors.
