Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, had talks with Thai General Consul Panpimon Suwannapongse on October 15.
Nguyen Chien Thang told her about the province’s outstanding socio-economic achievements, especially in tourism, industry, trade and sea port in 3 key economic zones (Nha Trang, Van Phong, Cam Ranh) in recent years.
He expressed his hope Thailand Government would open a direct flight route from Bangkok to the Cam Ranh International Airport to attract tourists in Thailand and Vietnam, in general, in Khanh Hoa, in particular.
She suggested that the Khanh Hoa authority provide information about the province’s such investment industries as energy, petrochemistry, thremo-electricity and tourism. She also pledged that 2 Thai delegations would come to Khanh Hoa to seek for investment chances in the end of this year.
