Fishery yield of Khanh Hoa Province has hit 102,000 tons in 2012, increasing by 14.6% over 2011, according to Chairman of Khanh Hoa Fishing Association Vo Thien Lang.
Of the sum, fishing yield makes up 83,000 tons, 10.5% up and aquaculture yield is 19,000 tons, 38% up.
Fishery export turnover is estimated to be USD320 million, increasing by 4.9%.
However, tuna processing businesses see 10% - 20% decrease in production and turnover.
