. Good store for Tet
According to Director of Maximark Nha Trang Doan Thi Tho, the supermarket has made plan for Tet for several months, including signing contracts with producers and suppliers to ensure enough goods and stable prices. The number of goods in the supermarket is 3, 4 times as much as normal to satisfy the rising demand on Tet, especially necessities such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, fresh food and processed food. Additionally, the supermarket has borrowed VND20 billion from the price stabilization program of the province’s State budget to keep prices 5 – 10% lower than market.
Foreseeing the sharp rise in consumption, Co.opmart Cam Ranh also has raised goods store. The total amount of reserves for Tet here is 1,500 tons worth nearly VND50 billion, including 600 tons of food, 200 tons of meat and poultry, 100 tons of processed food and 200 tons of vegetable and fruits. The supermarket also has borrowed VND3 billion to stabilize prices of necessary products, including sticky rice, sugar, cooking oil, processed food, poultry and meat.
